In Greenlight, the Application Number can be generated by the Council when the Council decides to Officially accept the Application.
This functionality comes in handy in below-mentioned scenarios,
- When the council doesn't want to generate the Application unless it is officially accepted, instead a reference number must be generated at the initial stage.
- When the Applicant applies via Applicant Portal but doesn’t make the payment and Applicant shouldn’t be able to receive an application number until payment is made.
- When the information provided is not enough to process the application and gets rejected and the Council requires the Application to be checked by an admin staff member before it can b e
In all above-scenarios, we provide the ability for council staff to generate Application No, by following below steps:
Initially, the Applicant will be provided a Reference number during the submission of the application.
Refer below as instructions to be followed,
1. The Application must only have a Reference number. Once it has been decided to make it into a valid Application, click on ‘Generate Application Number’ button as shown below,
2. Click ‘OK’
